Arlberg

When you spend your vacation at Haus Lechblick, you will live in the midst of an enchanting winter landscape. Children can play in front of the house in the deep snowy meadow.

The house Lechblick is located directly at the ski slope. Via the ski slope no. 62 you can ski up to the door. The nearest lift is the Schlosskopfbahn.

The ski schools Lech and Oberlech are easily and quickly accessible by lift. In addition to the Kinderland Oberlech, where the little ones practice their first turns, snowboarders have fun and improve their technique in the Funpark.

The Arlberg is hard to beat when it comes to superlatives: 97 cable cars and lifts, 350 kilometers of ski runs, 200 kilometers of high-alpine deep-snow runs and snow guaranteed until the end of April.

Since the ski area Lech-Zürs was connected with the neighboring ski area Warth-Schröcken, it is considered the largest connected ski area in Austria. The area in Warth is considered an insider tip for powder snow lovers, because in no other area in Europe does more snow fall from the sky on average: 11 meters!

Lech-Zürs is the only place in Austria that offers heliskiing. There are two summits to choose from: the Mehlsack is ideal for experienced skiers, the Schneetäli-Orgelscharte is recommended for skiers of intermediate ability (particularly attractive in spring when there is firn).

But you don’t have to be a skier or snowboarder to appreciate the Arlberg. The region is a winter paradise:

  • Winter hiking trails through a high mountain landscape covered in deep snow to magnificent viewpoints
  • Snowshoe hiking
  • Horse sleigh ride
  • Cross country skiing
  • Indoor skating rink
